Company to demonstrate New QRAE 3, MultiRAE and other gas/radiation monitors that provide 24/7/365 Browser-Based incident data to iPad® Android™ devices at FDIC Expo

San Jose, Calif. – March 27, 2014 – RAE Systems Inc., the leader in toxic gas detection systems and portable detectors, announced that as part of its ongoing commitment to enhance safety and increase real-time fireground/HazMat incident knowledge for first responders, will demonstrate its wireless gas and radiation detection monitor data in a browser-based “connected threat detection” environment at the Fire Department Instructor Conference (FDIC), in Indianapolis, April 7-12, 2014, at Booth #714.

During the conference, RAE Systems will demonstrate fire and HazMat gas and radiation detection innovations, including data delivered to iPad and Android tablets and browser-enabled smartphones. The real-time gas and radiation detection information, location, man-down alarms and biometric data can be viewed 24/7/365 for advanced incident command, multi-department response, and fireground detection.

The real-time data will be reported from the company’s portable ToxiRAE Pro single-gas monitors, new versatile QRAE 3 4-gas monitors, MultiRAE multi-threat detectors, GammaRAE II R radiation detectors, AreaRAE transportable multi-gas and radiation instruments, a BioHarness biometric device and third-party instruments.

RAE Systems will also demonstrate for the first time its new QRAE 3 wireless 4-gas monitor, with a newly announced AutoRAE 2 bump and calibration cradle and holster case.

At FDIC, the premier conference and exhibition for the fire industry, attendees will also be able to test their fireground detection skill in a live, interactive situational game-console at the RAE Systems booth. Entrants will be timed on how fast they complete the course and determine what gases and concentration levels are present. Real-Time Data-Driven Incident Command
With RAE Systems’ ProRAE Guardian Real-time Wireless Safety System, situational data obtained by multiple responder teams can be instantaneously shared securely through the Internet to aid mission control, simplify the coordination of joint operations and allow remote experts to be added to the operation in real time.

The ProRAE Guardian system provides a “mobile command center” for incident responders to remotely monitor toxic industrial chemicals/toxic industrial materials (TICs/TIMs), flammable gases, chemical warfare agents (CWA), radiation, meteorological conditions, GPS-based location information and the physiological condition of responders.
